DIY Lavender Wreath
Items Needed: Dried Lavender, branch or wire wreath, twine, flower wire, and flower fixative
Steps:
- Lay out lavender on a table that's easy to clean later.
- Prepare making lavender bunches or bundles.
- If using different variations of lavender, select a mix for each bunch.
- Place upright lavender in middle and lavender that leans on one side on the outskirts.
- Your hand should be wrapped around the bunch or bundles. This is when you know you're done.
- Use twine to tie a knot on the bottom stems. I quadruple tied a knot.
- Cut the bottom of the stems so they're even. I left about a half of inch from the twine.
- Use the wire to tie the bundle on a branch or wire wreath.
- Repeat steps 2 through 6.
- Stagger the second bunch to cover the stems of the first bunch. Ensure lavender is fanned outward.
- Repeat these steps until the wreath is complete.
- Spray with the flower fixative to preserve.
- Collect lavender that has fallen off stems and place in a bag for other craft purposes.
- Enjoy!
